Prevention is Always Better than Cure
I’ve been under a lot of stress recently. My business is being sluggish in sales and collection’s really getting tough. I guess, the present economic condition is literally getting my nerves. Yesterday I received a call from my mother saying that my aunt has been hospitalized for hypertension. It’s actually the second time, she was lucky to survive the first stroke and I hope that her luck would strike again this time. My family has the history of hypertension; the effect simply goes down from generation after the other. Not to mention my dad who passed away several years ago with the same disease. He was just on his late 50s and we consider it a big blow in the family. Given all those factors, I’m very much careful when it comes to my health conditions along with my family members. I don’t just make sure that I look physically well but I put much weight on the inside. I have checkups including a regular hormone treatment. I consider it with outmost importance because it entails a big part of my life. I won’t be able to do my business well if my health condition is in jeopardy - prevention is always better than cure.
